Teaser Trailer
Adobe Photoshop users have been reluctant to switch to the Creative Cloud. They love Photoshop, but they don’t like subscription fees. We needed to show them the universe of possibilities that unlock when they switch to Photoshop in the Cloud.

Photoshop fans love sharing their sci-fi artwork on Adobe Photoshop's Facebook page. So we created a social-first science fiction mystery, not just in the Cloud, but deep in space...and deep within Photoshop. The storyline was deceptively simple: something has gone horribly wrong on a research vessel returning to Earth. Find out what.

Fans downloaded highly detailed artwork files directly from the Creative Cloud and into Photoshop, transforming their favorite tool into a gaming platform - the files themselves a mysterious environment filled with danger.

Clues were buried in over 120 layers. Players used their toolkit as a lab kit. Even with
2 gigabyte files, the Creative Cloud worked seamlessly. They shared their findings. And even talked to the ship’s crew.

We challenged their investigative skills, their knowledge of science, and their Photoshop chops. Over the course of a week, our fans unraveled the mystery, saved the crew, and prevented a deadly virus from returning to Earth. Most importantly, our audience discovered the value of the Creative Cloud. No mystery there.

The numbers: 200,000+ engagements, 5.5M impression, 22% increase in cloud subscriptions.
